Job Description Employee Responsabilities: Perform daily operation and support of LC-MS systems in the lab Lead the technical effort to develop/validate/implement bioanalytical methods for small molecules characterization and quantitation on Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers (LCMS) platforms in a timely manner Perform LC-MS workflow including sample preparation, method development, data acquisition, data processing and analysis Develop new or improved methods for robust, reproducible, and quantitative MS analysis of biological samples. Explore and develop new technologies with implementation of challenging and innovative MS assays applicable to drug discovery Provide high-throughput mass spectrometry expertise and coordinate activities to support internal programs and external collaborations. Provide upkeep and maintenance of instrumentation with a strong ability to troubleshoot. Produce documents (e.g., methods development, quotations and client reports). Give presentations for training and client reviews Train technical staff Work with clients and internal scientific teams to design, execute and report on specific custom studies that use mass spectrometry technologies.
