Dear Colleagues,
First of all, I would like to extend my best wishes to you. May this year bring you health, success, and exciting projects, both professionally and personally. Wishing you all a wonderful year.

Please note that the number of participants is limited to 150 attendees. Key dates are:

– 20th March 2026: Deadline for registration
The GdR-MSI (GDR2125) will reach the end of its first term in December 2026. From the very beginning, we expressed our intention to organize an international event. Following discussions with the German community in Strasbourg in 2024, we decided to organize a joint event on “neutral ground” in Luxembourg.
This exceptional “GdR-MSI” event, entitled Spring Workshop: 1st EuroMass Imaging 2026, will take place from April 8 to 10, 2026 at the University of Luxembourg (Belval campus). As with our traditional GdR-MSI meetings, registration as well as meals and coffee breaks will be free of charge. Only travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the participating laboratories or companies.
The program will include four plenary lectures given by:
– Prof. Jens Soltwisch (Germany)
– Prof. Ingela Lanekoff (Sweden)
– – Dr. Jean-Paul Barnes (France)
– Prof. David Scurr (United Kingdom)
These lectures will cover a wide range of topics (biology, health, materials, cultural heritage, etc.) and MSI techniques (MALDI, DESI, SIMS).
In addition, the program will feature five contributed sessions, as well as two parallel sessions:
- Multiomics / Multimodal Single Cell
- Advanced Materials: Surface and Depth Characterization
The main objective of this event is to promote the GdR-MSI network and to strengthen the coexistence and collaboration of our communities at the international level.
Thank you for saving the date of our event in your calendars.
I wish you all a pleasant day,
Best regards,
Nicolas Desbenoit, on behalf of the local organizing and scientific committee.
